Tameside Local Studies & Archives looks after the records of the Greater Manchester borough of Tameside. Significant collections include the Manchester Regiment Collection, the Tameside Reporter newspaper and its photographic archive, both the Manchester Studies and Tameside’s own oral history collections, alongside a wealth of other local authority, personal, business, and organisational archives.
