Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery showcases over 650 million years of Shropshire’s rich history and is owned and operated by Shropshire Council. Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery is located in the 19th century Music Hall and 13th century Vaughan’s Mansion, a Grade II* listed medieval merchant’s house in the heart of the town. There are five permanent galleries of Shrewsbury and Shropshire history: Roman, Medieval, Tudor, Stuart and Shropshire Gallery and two galleries for temporary exhibitions. The museum houses Stop.
