Settle Stories

Settle Stories helps people to see their community in a different light and discover heritage in transformative ways. Its programmes connect people to where they live and work. The charity consults with the community to develop programmes and regularly works with third sector partners (Age UK, U3A, Libraries Youth Club etc) to deliver community heritage projects for maximum impact. Over 10 years it has delivered 11 heritage projects, 5 NLHF funded. This includes the W.R. Mitchell Archive, The Listening Gallery (inside a refurbished K6 phone box); Tom Faulkner Photographic Archive, touring exhibitions, creating facsimiles of heritage assets and oral history projects.

“Our mission is to collaborate with exceptional artists to create transformative experiences for people and communities.”
