Rendezvous Projects

Unknown

Rendezvous Projects is a Community Interest Company based in east London. It is run by five artists and writers who collaborate to work on creative projects which engage with the social history of places. Projects seek to both capture stories for long term archival purposes, as well as introducing social history to a new audience in innovative ways.

“We aim to include voices and stories that may not have been previously recorded, and create imaginative and visual outcomes including exhibitions, walking tour apps, publications, podcasts, films and events. Our projects have explored the Warner Estate in Walthamstow and Leyton, the printing industry in east London and more recently the history of rave and pirate radio in Waltham Forest 1989-94, and a 90s jungle record shop and recording studio in Forest Gate.”
