Leonard Chesire VC was a highly decorated Royal Air Force Pilot and group captain duing the Second World War, and a philanthropist. Leonard Chesire archives exists to collect, look after and promote the work of Group Captain Leonard Cheshire VC and his charitable work, including the work of his eponymous charity Leonard Cheshire, a charity which supports people with disabilites in the UK and around the world.
