Ledbury Places

Ledbury Places is a charity busy finding a sustainable future for three of the historic buildings in the town: the Old Grammar School – housing the Heritage Centre, the Barrett Browning Institute – home to the internationally renowned annual Ledbury Poetry Festival and the Burgage Hall – a former Congregational Chapel, now a venue for events.

“Ledbury is a market town in East Herefordshire and is full of historic buildings. These are a mixture of private homes, public or civic buildings, museums and a beautiful church. It’s a lovely place to visit and to keep it so, the buildings need to be looked after. As custodian of three heritage buildings in Ledbury, our aims are to find a sustainable purpose for each of them and to keep them in the ownership of and for the use of the people of Ledbury and the surrounding area.”
