Halton borough has a unique history and is home to a great variety of organisations and groups who care passionately about local heritage. Halton Heritage Partnership brings these groups together to work collaboratively, to share their knowledge, their collections, and their enthusiasm for Halton’s history with people across the borough and beyond. The Halton Heritage Partnership is now a fully constituted group, with partners across the borough all sharing a love of local heritage and a passion to uncover more.

“We received a start-up grant from the National Lottery and this enabled us to provide training for some of our members to support the development of our website, a guided visit to Chester Archives and promotional leaflets and resources.We are now responsible for the promotion of the Heritage Open Days within the borough and are currently requesting information from partners about events.”
