Its vision is for everyone to have access to their own stories, creating cultures of respect across Merseyside. This is achieved by encouraging connections, reclaiming and preserving lost heritage and finding solutions for our environmental crisis in archive (oral and tangible).

“We inspire to change partners and institutions by presenting alternative understandings of communities’ depictions and ways of working. Our mission is researching community history, producing events like Home Movie Day, and evaluating outcomes and partnerships. Our legacy leads to the preservation of local archives and they look to serve young people, LGBTQIA+, indigenous and people of colour, women and working class people by holding community events, digitizing home movies, sharing skills and knowledge and connecting a broad range of grassroots organisations.”
