The British Schools Museum is an education museum based in original Edwardian and Victorian school buildings in Hitchin in Hertfordshire, England. The museum complex is made up of Grade II listed school buildings housing infants, girls and bots schools with houses for Master and Mistress. The charity’s objects are to preserve and use a historically important group of buildings in Hitchin, Hertfordshire known as British Schools; and to advance education of the public in the history of schooling.
